May Kindred-Boothby is a director, animator and writer based in Bristol. She has worked freelance within animation for around 9 years. She recently completed her Masters in Animation at the Royal College of Art, where she completed her first directorial short The Eating of an Orange, which is now doing the festival circuit. Her new work focuses on surreal explorations of sexuality and convention told through a colourful and painterly hand drawn style.
